Our services are tailored to deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of your students whilst at the same time satisfying the requirements of Ofsted and complying with the guidance for Work-related Learning and Enterprise Education as detailed by the QCA. WEX Online is the new, web-based system for organising work experience. Subsidised by the LSC and Partnership Network, WEX Online allows students to search and apply online for placements to suit their skills and interests.
Extended work experience offers students a longer term placement, usually for one day a week throughout a year but can be tailored to meet the students and schools needs. It is also possible to include an accredited NOCN qualification as part of an extended placement.
First Partnership now offers a value-added Enterprise Gold package to all secondary schools. This package ensures that all Ofsted and QCA requirements for Enterprise and Work-related learning are fully met.
STEM EDUCATION (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
First partnership, in association with various local and national organisations, offers a range of hands on STEM events. Mock interviews are a realistic simulation of the most daunting stage in the recruitment process.
A whole year group activity which educates students on the importance of maintaining a healthy & balanced lifestyle.
First Partnership works with a number of agencies to deliver an intensive programme of engagement to students who are "at risk".
Mentoring aims to increase the involvement of the local community in supporting students to maximise their learning opportunities.
Work shadowing and work tasters are an opportunity for students to gain experience of the business world through spending time with an employer.
