Extended work experience offers students a longer term placement, usually for one day a week throughout a year but can be tailored to meet the students and schools needs. It is also possible to include an accredited NOCN qualification as part of an extended placement

 

First Partnership will help schools to find appropriate placements for students who require extended work experience. The placements are vetted and health and safety checked before the student arrives.

The process generally involves a meeting with the student to gauge interest before approaching employers. Once an employer has been found the student is likely to be asked for interview before the placement begins.
