![]() ![]() A whole year group activity which educates students on the importance of maintaining a healthy & balanced lifestyle.
Students take part in a number of taster workshops which all promote healthier lifestyles. From meditation, martial arts and body combat to making smoothies and fruit kebabs, this day has it all.
The event helps support Healthy School Status and links in with a number of subjects including PSHE, Citizenship, Food Technology, PE and Enterprise.
Through this provision pupils will:
· Experience how to cook healthy meals
· Experience ways to exercise
· Learn about nutrition and taking care of themselves
