![]() A Professional Development Placement (PDP) provides a wide range of opportunities for teachers and support staff to enhance, develop or gain new skills and experiences.
A PDP is a period of time spent by a teacher in a company or other organisation. This can greatly enhance teaching and learning and can focus on curriculum and/or management skills development.
Structured programmes, with clear aims and objectives, support a variety of curricular and continued professional development outcomes, including links to work related learning. Activities are tailored to meet specific needs.
A placement aims to:
